Peter Lawrence

Peter Lawrence is the founder and driving force behind Human Capital Department, as Managing Director and Consultant.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), he holds a Masters in Human Resource Management (MA HRM) and an MBA.

Peter has worked in a variety of Human Resource Management and Training and Development roles at Senior Management and Director level.

Rod Lee

Rod Lee (MCIPD and MA HRM) is Co-Founder, Operations Director and Consultant of Human Capital Department.

Rod has extensive practical experience in HR Management and as Senior HR Advisor with organisations including; WLP [Management Consultants], North Norfolk District Council, and Business Link.

He has worked with Senior Managers & Directors on HR Projects and in supporting SME’s with HR and L&D issues.

Sue Rumsby

Sue Rumsby

Sue is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development [FCIPD] and holds a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management [MA HRM] and has a wealth of experience within HR, and has worked for several years as a Human Resources Consultant. Sue provides telephone helpline advice and remote support, including employee relations advice, as well as being engaged in on-going project work for a wide variety of clients including; social enterprise groups, charities, educational institutions, the care sector as well as restaurant & hotel chains.

Alison Pena

Alison Pena

Alison is a passionate and dedicated HR professional, coach and mentor with over 25 years’ experience working across a range of business sectors including continuous manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and motorsports for SMEs, multi-nationals and private equity partners.

As well as being a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, she is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and European Mentoring and Coaching Council & qualified MBTI practitioner.

Stuart Haysman

A Chartered Safety and Health Professional [MIOSH] with over 16 years experience working as an H&S professional. Stuart's sector experience includes construction, manufacturing, engineering, retail and distribution, offices and leisure and has worked in companies of all sizes, and right up to board level.

Stephen Burton

Stephen Burton

Stephen is a well known figure on the business networking community in Norfolk, East Anglia and beyond, working with a leading networking group as Area Co-ordinator. Stephen’s background is in Operations Logistics and Health and Safety & People Management where he was responsible for 18 site locations in a large corporate.

Being very well connected with local businesses makes him an ideal fit to represent Human Capital Department - Stephen is particularly keen on promoting our free “HR Health-Check” to business owners and managers. The report gives businesses a pulse-check on compliance and best practice people management and development.
