Dr Diarmuid O'Brien of Cambridge Enterprise highlighted the need for Strategic Investment in Infrastructure and Venture Capital investment in order to fuel the growth of Start-Ups, Spin-offs and to attract international firms to the region   

People Management and Development should also be considered - small firms are unlikely to have internal expertise in #HR so it makes sense to Outsource to a company like Human Capital Department. For larger firms important that specialists working in HR follow a professional training route and continue to update skills and expertise in this ever-changing landscape.
